“Poppet”
*The work shown is that of the instructor
I invite students to open the windows of their imagination and have fun developing their own “poppet” character. Students will enjoy hands-on sculpting with paper clays and later, after painting their creations, they’ll embellish their “poppet” with fanciful fabrics and trims. This class has been designed for the intermediate crafter with hand sewing skills. Previous experience with paper clays (Cellu-clay and creative paper clay) is helpful though not necessary. Students are encouraged to come to the table with a rough sketch of their intended project.
